What will be the electoral impact of Nayab Saini becoming Haryana Chief Minister? Matrize NC poll reveals

New Delhi: A recent survey conducted by NC matrix has predicted that the potential electoral impact of Nayab Singh Saini Becoming prime minister could prevent the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) from facing an anti-incumbency label, with 31% of respondents believing it would mitigate this problem.

Meanwhile, according to the survey, 26% of respondents believe that if Nayab Singh Saini becomes chief minister it would lead to more dissatisfaction with the BJP, 31% think it would have no impact and 12% are unsure about the potential effect.

The survey further assessed Nayab Singh Saini’s performance as Prime Minister: 40% of respondents rated it as very good, 21% as average, 24% as not good and 15% as uncertain about his performance.

It is worth noting that the sample size for this particular survey is approximately 23,500, with over 12,000 male respondents, around 6,500 female respondents, and around 4,500 first-time voters.

Haryana Elections

He Electoral Commission The Haryana Assembly has announced that the Haryana Assembly elections will be held in a single phase on October 1, and the results will be declared on October 4. In Haryana, there are a total of 2.01 crore voters, including 1.06 crore men, 95 lakh women, 4.52 lakh first-time voters and 40.95 lakh youth voters.

The deadline for submitting nominations is September 12, the counting of votes is scheduled for September 13, and the last date for withdrawing candidacies is September 16.

The term of the current Haryana government will end on November 3, 2024, and elections will be held in all 90 legislative assembly constituencies of the state. After the 2019 elections, the BJP formed a coalition government with the JJP, which won 10 seats, while the Congress got 31 seats. The BJP-JJP alliance was dissolved earlier this year.

In the 2024 elections, Haryana is expected to see a four-candidate contest between the BJP, Congress, JJP and AAP.
