A case of misbehavior and assault on a female crew member of Air India has come to light in a big hotel in London. The airline said in its statement on Sunday that it is in touch with the local police and the matter is under investigation. According to reports, this incident took place at the Radisson Red Hotel in Heathrow, London. Where the airline staff had already expressed concern about security in the hotel.

According to reports, this incident happened on Thursday night. According to sources, the female crew member was sleeping in her room, when around 1.30 am an unknown person entered her room. When the woman woke up, she started screaming. At this, the attacker attacked the woman with a clothes hanger and dragged her on the floor.
She was trying to run out of the room. But he was continuously hitting her. Eventually people from nearby rooms came to help and the attacker was caught. The woman was admitted to the hospital.

What the airline said
An Air India spokesperson said, “We are deeply saddened by this incident. We are in touch with our colleagues and team and are continuously supporting them. Air India is also working with the local police on legal issues. It has also contacted the hotel management and asked them to ensure that such an incident does not happen again.” The airline said that it is committed to the safety of its crew members and staff members. According to the information, the female crew member has currently returned to India and is being counseled.
Meanwhile, Congress leader Manish Tiwari has reacted to this incident. He said, Air India ‘intentionally put the cabin crew at risk’ by not paying attention to safety issues.
