Akhilesh Yadav’s taunt against BJP is not intended to give medicines that cause pain.

UP Teachers Recruitment: Former Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister and Samajwadi Party (SP) president Akhilesh Yadav has slammed state Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya. He asked the ruling BJP to keep education and youth away from infighting and negative politics. The SP chief wrote on social media platform ‘X’: Don’t pretend to give painkilling medicines!

In the same post, Akhilesh Yadav said that the statement of a “kindly received Deputy Chief Minister” (Keshav Prasad Maurya) of Uttar Pradesh in the case of recruitment of 69,000 teachers is also a conspiracy. Firstly, he himself participated with the government in demanding reservations. After this, when the youth fought against them and got justice after a long struggle, they came forward to prove that they were sympathisers.

What did Keshav Prasad Maurya say?

Keshav Prasad Maurya had shared a post on ‘X’ on Saturday. He said that the Allahabad High Court’s decision on the recruitment of teachers is a welcome step towards social justice. This is the victory of those backward and oppressed classes who fought a long battle for their rights. I wholeheartedly welcome it.

What did Akhilesh Yadav say?

Akhilesh Yadav He allegedly said that in reality this “kindly favoured Deputy Chief Minister” is not with the candidates for teacher recruitment but by doing so he is playing his political game within the BJP. He also said that those “honourable” people whom he is indirectly pointing the finger at in this matter also understand this game of internal politics. The BJP should keep education and youth away from its internal fights and negative politics because Uttar Pradesh has gone back many years due to the power-hungry politics of the BJP.

What is the problem?

The Lucknow bench of the Allahabad High Court has ordered preparation of a fresh selection list ignoring the selection list released in June 2020 and the selection list of 6,800 candidates dated January 5, 2022 for appointment of 69,000 teachers in the state under the Assistant Teachers Recruitment Examination (ATRE).
