Rajesh, who lived a simple life as a truck driver, started a YouTube channel out of his love for cooking. He has now become an internet personality with 1.86 million subscribers on YouTube.
He recently purchased a new house, which he bought with his YouTube earnings.
Recently, in a podcast with Siddharth Kannan, Rajesh Rawani spoke about his income. Rawani also spoke about his net worth.
Speaking about his journey, Rajesh Rawani said that he had an accident in which he injured his hand, but despite the injury, he continued driving because he had a family to support and a house under construction. Rawani says that he will continue driving the truck as long as his hand allows him, until his house is completed.
Employment vs. YouTube Income:
When Sidharth Kannan asked Rajesh Rawani about his income, Rawani said that he earns between Rs 25,000 and Rs 30,000 per month from driving a truck. However, his YouTube earnings vary depending on the views, ranging from Rs 200,000 to Rs 300,000, and his highest monthly income was Rs 500,000.
“I posted a video with a voiceover and people kept asking me to show my face. Then my son made a video showing my face and it got 450,000 views in just one day,” Rajesh Rawani said when asked about his first viral video.
Rawani credited his children, who uploaded the videos to YouTube.
“We run the vehicles and the YouTube channel together. It wouldn’t have been possible without the support and help of my family,” he said.
Rajesh Rawani shared that he was born and raised in Jharkhandwhere her father worked as a driver and was the sole breadwinner for the family of five. Her father used to send Rs 500 a month, which was used to cover all their expenses, often forcing them to borrow money to make ends meet. Despite these hardships, Rawani has come a long way and has achieved remarkable success today.
