FADA Academy and IIT Delhi launch advanced certification programme in automotive operations and future technologies
The Federation of Automobile Dealers Associations (FADA) Academy, in association with the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi (Delhi Institute of Technology), is pleased to present the Advanced Certificate Program in Automotive Operation and Future technologiesThis 7-day intensive program, held at the renowned IIT Delhi campus, aims to transform the automotive industry by equipping dealer principals and dealer leadership teams with the latest knowledge and skills.
Mr. Vinkesh GulaP, Chairman of FADA Academy and Research, expressed his excitement over the collaboration, “This partnership with IIT Delhi marks a significant milestone in our mission to empower the automotive dealership community with advanced education and training. With uncertainties in future technologies such as different powertrains and complexities inherent in dealership operations, it is crucial to prepare dealership managers to meet these challenges. Dr Deepak Kumar, Professor, Centre for Automotive Tribology and Research, IIT Delhi, said, “The curriculum is meticulously designed to cover both technical and managerial topics that are critical for the future of the automotive industry. Participants will gain insights from leading experts and hands-on experience in state-of-the-art laboratories at IIT Delhi.”
Mr. Bijaya Ketan Panigrahi, Professor, Department of Electrical Engineering, IIT Delhi, commented, “This programme offers a unique blend of theoretical and practical knowledge, particularly in the rapidly evolving fields of electric and hybrid vehicles. Our aim is to prepare participants to not only understand but also lead the transformation towards more advanced and sustainable automotive technologies.”
The Advanced Certificate Program curriculum covers a wide range of topics, including automotive operations and future technologies, team dynamics and change management. It also delves into data mining, IT and AI in dealerships, charging infrastructure, battery technology, and hybrid and alternative energy vehicles. Other areas include car health monitoring, sustainability, connected and autonomous vehicles, operations management, inventory and demand management, predictive analytics, and financial and marketing management. Participants will also visit relevant labs to enhance their learning experience.
This program is designed to meet the needs of the automotive dealership sector by highlighting the latest advancements and practical applications in automotive operations and future technologies.
