“To increase the skilled workforce, Google Cloud has proposed to set up a startup hub and a centre of excellence in Madhya Pradesh,” Yadav told reporters after an interactive session on investment opportunities in Madhya Pradesh.

Discussions have been held with HAL on setting up its centre in Madhya Pradesh, which are likely to yield positive results, Yadav said.

Yadav said a roundtable discussion was held with representatives from the space technology sector and NASSCOM and other major companies like Infosys LtdConscious, and TCS.
“Discussions were held with these companies regarding IT development in Madhya Pradesh and their future plans and I am hopeful that with the kind of positive response we have received, we will witness many IT companies setting up their campuses in Madhya Pradesh,” the Prime Minister said.
Over 500 participants attended the interactive session which was attended by investors from Karnataka and other nearby states, officials said.
The Prime Minister said that individual meetings were held with more than 30 leading industrialists.
Representatives from various industry bodies, as well as from Great Britain, Poland, Italy, France, Australia and Switzerland, among others, also took part in the session.
MoUs have been signed with the Indian Electronics and Semiconductor Association, Indian Electronics Industries Association and Geospatial Industries Association, the chief minister added.
