UGC NET Revaluation June 2024: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released that the re-examination of UGC NET 2024 will be conducted through CBT (Computer-Based Test). The re-examination of UGC NET 2024 exam will be conducted on August 21.

During the announcement of UGC NET, the NTA had clearly stated that the UGC NET 2024 re-examination will be conducted in CBT mode, which was earlier conducted through offline medium using pen and paper. With this change, the agency has reverted to its old method; in previous years, the UGC NET exam was conducted only through CBT mode. In the official notification, the NDA said, “The UGC NET June 2024 exam was earlier conducted through offline medium using pen and paper. However, now this exam will be conducted through computer-based test mode again.”

Let us tell you that the NTA had organized the UGC NET 2024 exam on June 18, 2024. At that time, the NEET paper leak case was much discussed in the country and the NEET paper leak case was going on in the Supreme Court. In such a situation, the rumour of UGC NET exam leak was also widely spread, that is why on June 19, a day after the exam, the NTA cancelled the exam and announced a re-exam. After this, the NTA released the schedule of the re-examination of the UGC NET exam, according to which the UGC NET exam will be held between August 21 and September 4, 2024.

How to Check UGC NET 2024 Exam Admit Card

1. First of all, you need to visit the commission’s official website. ugcnet.nta.nic.in will continue.

2. After that, you will see the UGC NET Admit Card 2024 link on the homepage. Click on the link.

3. After this, you will need to enter your application number and date of birth to log in.

4. Now the UGC NET admit card will open in front of you.

5. Now download your admission card.

6. After this, print your admit card for the exam.

UGC NET examination will be conducted through CBT. The examination will be held on 83 subjects from 21st August to 4th September 2024. The examination will be conducted in two shifts. The timing of the first shift is from 9 am to 12 pm and the timing of the second shift is from 3 pm to 6 pm. The agency is conducting UGC-NET in June 2024 for (i) ‘Grant of Junior Research Fellowship and Appointment as Assistant Professor’, (ii) ‘Grant of Appointment as Assistant Professor and Admission to Ph.D.’ and (iii) ‘Admission to Ph.D. only’.
