This incident is of Jamui police station where a sub-inspector broke the head of a person with his pistol after getting drunk. SI (Sub-Inspector) Kedar Oraon posted in Jamui police station reached the police station and took out his pistol and started waving it in the air. After this Oraon attacked ASI Rakesh Kumar Singh posted in the liquor prohibition office of Jamui.
ASI broke his head under influence of alcohol
According to the report, ASI Kedar Oraon posted in Jamui police station reached the prohibition police station after drinking alcohol where he first created a ruckus and then misbehaved with a female constable. After this, when ASI Rakesh Kumar Singh posted in the prohibition police station tried to convince him, he attacked him with the butt of the pistol and broke his head.
The injured policeman got three stitches
In a hurry, the injured ASI Rakesh Kumar Singh of the prohibition police station was taken to Jamui Sadar Hospital where he was given three stitches due to a serious head injury. Injured ASI Rakesh Kumar Singh said that he was sitting in his office and settling government work when a worker informed him that SI Kedar Oraon was creating a ruckus after getting drunk and had also misbehaved with a female constable.
He said, after hearing this he came out and tried to convince Kedar Oraon but he attacked him. After this, information about Kedar Oraon’s actions was given to the Jamui police station in-charge through phone.
After this, the information about this incident with Rakesh Kumar Singh was received by Excise Superintendent Subhash Kumar. Excise Superintendent Subhash Kumar informed the entire matter to the DM and SP of Jamui. Subhash Kumar said that SI Kedar Oraon’s consumption of alcohol was confirmed in the breath analyzer, after which he was locked up in the lock-up on the instructions of the SP.
Accused ASI suspended, arrested
He said that his service revolver was falling repeatedly due to excessive consumption of alcohol, due to which it was seized. Excise Superintendent Subhash Kumar said that ASI Kedar Oraon had come to the prohibition police station to plead for someone in a liquor case.
However, no police officer is saying anything in this case. On the strict instructions of Jamui SP Dr. Shaurya Suman, the police of Jamui police station has arrested SI Kedar Oraon and brought him to Jamui police station and preparations are being made to send him to jail. He has been suspended with immediate effect and departmental action has been initiated against SI Kedar Oraon.
