In Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, a man shot himself after reaching his in-laws’ house. On receiving the information, the police took the body in their custody and sent it for postmortem. Police say that the body of the deceased has been sent for postmortem. Investigation has revealed that there was a dispute going on in the family. This is the reason why the man committed suicide. Further action is being taken.

The case is of Gomtinagar Extension police station area. The name of the deceased is Satish Soni (30). He was originally from Champaran, Bihar. Currently, he was living in Lucknow with his wife and 3-year-old daughter. According to the information, Satish was a transporter by profession, but was going through financial crisis for some time. 6 years ago, Satish had bought land in C-Block Hanuman Mandir Thana Ghazipur in the name of his brother Mukesh and was building a flat on that land.

Called a friend to take care of the daughter

On Friday, he called his brother Mukesh, who lives in Bihar, and got the papers ready to get power of attorney to sell the flat. On this, Mukesh asked Satish to sign after paying the price of the land. Satish became sad at this. When Satish’s wife came to know about this, she also went to her parents’ house taunting him. On Sunday morning, Satish asked his friend Shailendra alias Vicky on WhatsApp to take care of his 3-year-old daughter Tisha and get insurance in her name.

After reaching his in-laws’ house, he shot himself with his licensed pistol

After this, Satish reached his in-laws’ house, where he put the licensed pistol in his mouth and shot himself. When Vicky reached his friend Satish’s flat in Ansal to meet him, he found the door of the flat open. He went inside where he found a suicide note written by Satish in the name of his mother. In which he blamed his brother Mukesh and also said that no one can understand him.

DCP said this in the matter

DCP East Zone Shashank Singh said that the body of the deceased has been sent for post-mortem. Investigation has revealed that there was a dispute in the family, due to which the person committed suicide. Further action is being taken in the case.
