Devashish Singh Sardar (22 years), a resident of Pokhari under MGM police station, committed suicide by hanging himself in Lucknow last Friday. The deceased was a B.Tech student. The deceased’s father Laxman Singh Sardar works in Lucknow. On Sunday, the relatives brought the body to their house in Pokhari without conducting the post-mortem and were preparing to perform the last rites. On receiving the information, the police from MGM police station got in touch. The police sent the body for post-mortem, while the relatives did not want the post-mortem to be done. After the post-mortem, the body was cremated on Sunday evening. According to the information, the deceased Devashish Singh Sardar was studying B.Tech at IDTR located in Adityapur. Just a few days ago, he had gone to work with his father in Lucknow. The deceased is a native of Bodam. But my father also bought a plot of land in Pokhari. Devashish Singh Sardar was the only light in the house. According to the police, the motive behind the suicide is not known.
