Gurugram Heavy Rains: It rained heavily in Gurugram, Haryana on Thursday, after which many parts of the place were flooded. In this regard, Instagram user Gajodhar Singh has shared a video in which water is seen outside his house in the posh Sector 57 of Gurugram. In the video, an expensive car is seen stuck in the water. Gajodhar Singh also says that he went to get a crane to pull his cars out of the water. But even the crane did not reach deep water. In the caption of this video, he wrote, “This is not Mumbai or Bengaluru, welcome to Gurugram, the metropolitan city of India.” With this, Gajodhar Singh appealed to his followers to report this matter to the local authorities and urge them to draw their attention to his plight.
The waterlogging occurred due to blockage of the city’s drains and sewers.
