Bollywood celebrates Raksha Bandhan
Actor Sunny Deol took a walk down memory lane and shared a picture with his sister from his childhood. The adorable picture shows Sunny’s sister tying a rakhi on his wrist. “Happy Raksha Bandhan dear sisters (a couple of red heart emojis),” he wrote in the Instagram post.
Suniel Shetty also shared a picture with his sisters on Rakhi and wrote, “The purest and eternal!”, wishing them all the best on the festival. The trio looks stunning as the picture is a throwback to Athiya-KL Rahul’s wedding.
On the occasion of Raksha Bandhan, late actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s sister Shweta penned a heartfelt post in his memory. Taking to her Instagram account, Shweta shared a video of Sushant saying that he would do his best to become not just a good actor but also a great human being. “Happy Raksha Bandhan to my dear brother, I hope you are always happy and protected in higher realms in the company of the Gods (red heart emoji),” she wrote.
Sushant passed away on June 14, 2020. He was found dead at his residence in Bandra.
Actress Tamannaah Bhatia also gave a glimpse of her bond with her brother. Taking to Instagram Story, Tamannaah posted an adorable picture with her brother from their childhood days. In the caption, she said that she misses the ‘bachpan ki masti’ she spent with her brother. “Happy Raksha Bandhan to the best brother in the world! Missing our bachpan ki masti and you a little more today. Pamper me soon (couple of heart emojis),” Tamannaah wrote.
Sanjay Dutt sent a warm greeting to his sisters Priya Dutt and Namrata Dutt. Taking to Instagram, he penned a heartfelt note thanking the duo for being his constant support. “Having you both by my side fills me with so much happiness. Thank you for being my constant support Priya and Anju. I love you both immensely! (red heart emoji) Wishing you a very Happy Raksha Bandhan @priyadutt @namrata62,” Dutt captioned the post.
Bhumi Pednekar and her sister Samiksha celebrate Raksha Bandhan by tying a rakhi (sacred thread) on each other. As it is Raksha Bandhan today, Bhumi took to Instagram and penned a short yet beautiful note for her sister. “I love you @samikformednekar (red heart emoji). For being there for each other (infinity emoji) #HappyRakshabandhan,” she wrote in the post.
