BYD Atto 3 Dynamic is the entry variant of the EV

BYD India, a subsidiary of the global electric vehicle manufacturer in India, is celebrating its 11th anniversary in the country. It is to be noted that the brand entered the Indian market on August 20, 2013, with the launch of its first electric bus in Chennai. Furthermore, the brand announced that the Atto 3 and Cosmos Black Edition variants of the vehicle received over 600 units within a month. To mark the occasion, the brand has announced that the Atto 3 Dynamic variant of the electric car continues to be sold at an introductory price.

He WORLD Atto 3 Dynamic The Atto 3 is the entry-level variant of the EV and was recently launched at a starting price of Rs 24.99 lakh (ex-showroom). Along with the Dynamic, the Atto 3 has relatively more expensive Premium and Superior trims. The Dynamic variant of the vehicle comes with a 49.92 kWh battery pack that is claimed to have an ARAI-certified range of 468 km on a single charge. Meanwhile, the Premium and Superior variants get a larger 60.48 kWh battery pack that the Atto 3 originally came with. It offers an ARAI-certified range of 521 km. All these three variants are powered by a single front-axle electric motor that generates 204 hp and 310 Nm of torque.

Using a DC fast charger, the Atto 3’s battery can be charged from 0 to 80 percent in 50 minutes, regardless of the model. The base and mid-range trims lack, of course, some features that are available on the Premium version. The mid-range Premium variant does not include the ADAS suite or adaptive LED headlights. The Dynamic trim also does not include a power tailgate, an 8-speaker sound system or multi-colour ambient lighting. It also comes with smaller 17-inch wheels. BYD has introduced a new Cosmos Black colour for the all-electric SUV.
