Rahul Gandhi took an Uber ride with taxi driver Sunil Upadhyay. The duo struck up a conversation, where Sunil Upadhyay informed that he has been driving a taxi for five years.

During the Uber rideDriver Sunil Upadhyay told Rahul Gandhi, “I have been driving a taxi for five years. I used to work with a company. After I got married, I have been driving a taxi. I do it for two days at a stretch. Earlier, when the CAG was Rs 30, the taxi was running at the same rate and now that it has reached Rs 95, it is still running at the same rate. In 2011-12, the taxi business was doing very well. At that time, even the company was paying Rs 10 lakh.”
