If three lakh Kanwariyas had spent even Rs. 500 on purchasing Prasad and other items, then a business of around Rs. 15 crore would have been done in various sectors of the city. Apart from this, if the first 50 thousand Kanwariyas who came out of the district had spent Rs. 500 on Kanwar clothes, then they would have spent Rs. 2.5 crore. More than two crore rupees were spent in the service of the Kanwariyas. About two dozen camps were organised in the city on all five Mondays. In which arrangements were made for food, tea snacks and bottled water for the Kanwariyas. The voluntary organisations spent a lot of money on the camps organised on all five Mondays. A camp operator said that the camp on all five Mondays cost around Rs 10 lakh. Seen from this perspective, two crore rupees were spent in the service of the Kanwariyas, for which grains were purchased from Gola Mandi and the Market Committee. In this way, the grain market also grew significantly. Apart from this, the camp operators also spent more than Rs 5 lakh on medicines for medical arrangements.
