Ananya Panday on jokes about her ‘fight’: Comment: ‘Honestly, I can’t take it anymore.’

Ananya Herrero He never fails to be the center of attention. Even when he is not promoting any of his upcoming projects, he always makes headlines. Recently, at the trailer launch of his upcoming project on Amazon, Main video series Call me baeAnanya was questioned by Zoom about the viral jokes about her “fight” comment that often circulate on social media platforms.

Interestingly, the Call Me Bae trailer itself features a very funny take on the word “fight.” Ananya told us, “We ourselves have laughed at that phrase, we have sort of acknowledged it. I said it a long time ago, like 5 years ago. I find it very difficult to answer that question now.”

She continued: “I don’t really want to do it anymore. I’m just trying to keep my head down and work, and hope people like my work. There’s no problem, I’m doing well.”

The Call Me Bae trailer, which is funny, bright, a little over-the-top and self-referential, hints at the final dialogue exchange between Ananya and a watchman that is taken directly from what her Gehraaiyaan co-actor Siddhant Chaturvedi told her about the “struggle,” years ago during a roundtable conversation.

The series also stars Vir Das, Gurfateh Pirzada, Varun Sood, Vihaan Samat, Muskkaan Jaferi, Niharika Lyra Dutt, Lisa Mishra and Mini Mathur in important roles. The series offers a glimpse into Bae’s life as he struggles in the larger city of Mumbai.

Further talking about the series, Ananya said, “From the very beginning, I knew that Call Me Bae was a project I wanted to be a part of. Even without having heard the script, I knew this was going to be something special. As an actress, it’s always exciting and rewarding to play a multi-faceted character like Bae. There’s more to Bae than meets the eye and that’s what makes her journey from heiress to con artist compelling and intriguing. Despite the challenges she faces, she remains true to herself, retaining her innocence and zest for life.”

The series will premiere on Prime Video on September 6.
