Rain alert tomorrow in many districts of Bihar, know the weather status of your city

Tomorrow is rainy: Monsoon activity remains normal in Bihar. There is a possibility of light to moderate rainfall in many districts of the state on Wednesday (August 21). There are more chances of rain, especially in south-west Bihar. An alert has been issued regarding the possibility of thunderstorms in the north-central and western regions. In fact, there is a low pressure area in central Bangladesh, which is likely to move towards West Bengal in the next two days. Also, a cyclonic wind zone is developing in Jharkhand. So there is a possibility of rain in some areas.

Chance of rain and thunderstorms in these districts

According to the forecast issued by the Meteorological Department, heavy rainfall will occur in many districts of the state, especially in western and eastern Champaran, Kaimur, Rohtas, Aurangabad, Gaya, Jamui, Sheikhpura, Bhagalpur, Nawada, Lakhisarai, Banka, Jehanabad, Buxar, Arwal and Nalanda are likely to occur. Along with this, there is a possibility of rainfall along with thunder and lightning in many parts of the state.

Where will it rain and what kind of rain?

  • There is a possibility of heavy rainfall at one or two places in West Champaran and East Champaran districts.
  • There is a chance of lightning and thunder in one or two locations in the west and south of the state.
  • There is a possibility of heavy rainfall at one or two places in Kaimur, Rohtas, Aurangabad and Gaya districts.
  • There is a chance of lightning and thunder in one or two locations in the north, west and south of the state.
  • There is a possibility of heavy rain at one or two places in Jamui, Sheikhpura, Bhagalpur, Nawada, Aurangabad, Lakhisarai, Jamui and Banka districts.
  • There is a possibility of lightning and thunder at one or two places in Kaimur, Rohtas, Aurangabad and Arwal districts.
  • There is a possibility of heavy rainfall at one or two places in Jehanabad and Nalanda districts.

Samastipur was the coldest in the last 24 hours

In the last 24 hours, light to moderate rainfall has been recorded in many districts including Samastipur. The lowest minimum temperature recorded in Samastipur was 23.5 degrees Celsius due to which people felt cold. Besides, a drop in temperature was also recorded in districts like Valmikinagar, Purnia, Nalanda, Shekhpura, Banka etc.

People felt the heat in Sitamarhi.

While the highest maximum temperature of 38.1 degrees Celsius was recorded in Sitamarhi. Along with this, a rise in temperature was also recorded in districts like Siwan, Khagaria, Aurangabad, Patna and Bhagalpur. With thunderstorm warning in many districts of Bihar, the Meteorological Department has appealed to the people to be cautious.
