SPJIMR completes autumn placements with an average stipend of Rs 3.1 lakh

Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan SP Jain Institute of Management and Research (SPJIMR) said he has completed his autumn placement Cycle for the Combined Postgraduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) and Post Graduate Diploma in Management (Business Management) cohort 2025 with an average stipend of Rs 3.15 lakh for two months.

The batch, comprising 341 students, received 390 offers from 75 companies. The fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) sector dominated the placements, with 35% of participants placed in this sector, followed by consulting firms (21%). The average stipend hit a new high of Rs 3.1 lakh, marking a 3.5% year-on-year increase. The top 50% of the batch secured an average offer of Rs 4.17 lakh.

The two-year full-time PGDM programme is unique in that it allows for internships in the autumn. These internships allow students to carry out corporate projects during their second year of study. The number of job openings in investment banking and private equity, as well as product management, reached all-time highs, with increases of 110% and 400% respectively, compared to the previous year. Notable recruiters in these sectors include DC Advisory, Nomura, JM Financials, Edelweiss Alternatives, American Express, Intuit, Tata Digital and Samsung Research.

This year, 22 first-time recruiters participated in the internship cycle. Among the new additions to SPJIMR’s portfolio are the National Infrastructure Investment Fund, Edge InformationMotilal Oswal, HSBC, Kenvue, LupineLenskart, Titan, Angel One Wealth, Henkel and Aequitas Investments. This marked the last fall internship cycle as SPJIMR transitioned to the summer internship cycle for the PGDM and PGDM (BM) batch of 2024-2026, scheduled to take place in September.
