Young man dies while jumping and doing stunts in a pond

Bariya. A youth from Balua Rampurwa Panchayat of Thana drowned while bathing in water from a pond around 8 pm on Monday night. The youth is said to be Munib Kumar, 20-year-old son of Ramlal Chaudhary, a resident of ward number 17. Manib was the third among four brothers. The deceased Muneeb was a class 9 student, studying in Government Enhanced Secondary School, Balua Rampurwa. According to villagers, he was jumping during a game in a pond in the village; he had already done such stunts many times. It is said that in this sequence he jumped once again, after some time he drowned and did not come out again. When the villagers became suspicious, they started searching for him in the pond, by which time he was already dead. Police station in-charge Mukesh Kumar said that the body has been sent for a post-mortem and further steps will be taken as per the request of the boy’s family. When questioned by the in-charge of the police station, Ramdev Singh, he said that he was not aware of any such incident.
