He Police Recruitment in Uttar Pradesh and the Promotion Board has announced the written examination For the Direct recruitment of 60,244 positions of agent in the civil police.

The exams will be held on August 23, 24, 25, 30, and 31, 2024, as stated in an official press release. This exam will be conducted in two shifts daily on the above-mentioned dates and around 500,000 candidates will appear for this exam in each shift.

Previously cancelled, this exam has been rescheduled following the directives of the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh to ensure that it meets the highest standards of integrity and transparencyThe Uttar Pradesh Government is committed to conducting the exam within a specific time frame, meeting these rigorous standards.

To ensure transparency and fairness in the selection process, the Uttar Pradesh government has issued detailed guidelines on preparation of exams, selection of test centres, verification of candidates and prevention of impersonation on 19 June 2024. The examination will be conducted as per these norms.

Also, to avoid bad practices such as the question Paper leaks and tampering with answer sheets, the Uttar Pradesh Public Examinations (Prevention of Unfair Means) Ordinance-2024 (Uttar Pradesh Ordinance No. 6 of 2024) was notified on July 1, 2024. This ordinance stipulates severe penalties, including fines up to Rs one crore and life imprisonment, for using or facilitating unfair means during the examination, according to an official release.

The written examination for Constable recruitment will be held on the above dates, with two shifts each day. Approximately 500,000 candidates are expected to participate in each shift. Candidates attending the examination will benefit from free bus facilities provided by the Uttar Pradesh government. Both copies must be presented to the bus driver. This system ensures smooth and accessible participation for all candidates, reinforcing the commitment to a fair and transparent selection process.
