Contact lost 15 minutes after takeoff
This training aircraft of Alchemist Aviation lost contact with the air traffic control about 15 minutes after taking off. The last location of the aircraft was recorded near Dimna Dam in Jamshedpur. In view of the possibility of an accident, the district administration of East Singhbhum and Seraikela-Kharsawan were informed and a search operation was launched.
The plane reportedly crashed in the forest area of Amda Hill under Patmada police station area. The airport management, aviation company officials and forest department team rushed to the spot.

An aviation company official said, “About 15 minutes after takeoff, the plane completely lost contact with air traffic control.” Its last location was recorded near Dimna Dam in Jamshedpur.
Search for the plane also continues in West Bengal’s Purulia district: Deputy Commissioner
East Singhbhum Deputy Commissioner Ananya Mittal said the plane was last seen near Nimdih in Seraikela-Kharsawan district. “The administration, police and forest departments of East Singhbhum and Seraikela-Kharsawan districts are searching for the plane,” she said. Mittal said that apart from areas around Nimdih, searches are also underway in Purulia district of West Bengal.
