The UPPRPB decided to hold a new exam after the previous exam, held on February 17 and 18, was cancelled following allegations of document leaks.
Meanwhile, the government has announced that it will offer free travel on state transport corporation buses to candidates appearing for the exam.
UP Police Constable Recruitment Exam Dates
UPPRPB will hold the re-examination exams next month. The re-examination exams will be held on these five dates:
August 23,
August 24,
August 25,
August 30,
and August 31, 2024.
This follows a previous exam held in February 2024 which was cancelled due to a document leak affecting more than 4.8 million candidates.
The re-examination will cover the 60,244 positions of Direct Recruitment of Civil Agents 2023.
“In February 2024, more than 4.8 million candidates appeared for the Uttar Pradesh Police recruitment exam across the state,” the official said. UP Police Recruitment Board.
The cancellation of the initial exam came on strict orders of UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath following the document leak incident. Chief Minister Adityanath ordered that a fresh exam be scheduled within six months, leading to the new dates announced.
The Board confirmed: “Dates for the sixth month exam have been published.”
UP Police Constable Recruitment Examination Guidelines
The UP Police Recruitment Board will soon release the essential guidelines for the new exam. Candidates can expect their UP Constable exam admit card for August 2024 to be available online about ten days before the exam. The official website to download the admit card is uppbpb.gov.in.
Additionally, UP Constable Exam Admit Card and recruitment related information will be available on the NBT Education website. Candidates are advised to stay updated by visiting these platforms frequently.
The re-examination is aimed at filling a considerable number of posts, addressing the competitive and critical need for civil constables in Uttar Pradesh.
