According to the Common Seat Allocation System at Delhi University, 50 per cent of the seats have been filled in the first phase of undergraduate admissions. As per the information received from DU, till 5 pm on August 20, a total of 46,171 students took admission. Taking into account the seats lying vacant in many colleges, DU this time allotted 97,387 seats, more than 35 per cent of the prescribed number. In which 83,678 students accepted seats in the first round. DU says that 11,224 students have confirmed their seats. 27,613 have opted for upgradation after payment of admission fees.

In many North Campus colleges, 75 per cent of the seats in the main subjects have been filled. The deadline for payment of fee for the first counselling at DU is till 5 pm on August 21. After this, DU will again publish the list of vacant seats. Thereafter, the admission for the second list will begin from August 25. DU has announced the start of the session from August 29 with the admission for a second consultation. Colleges have started preparations for the counselling programme along with the admission. Many colleges are preparing to do this both in online and offline functions.

Admission will take place in DU under second counseling starting on the 25th.

– The DU admission section will release the list of vacant seats left in the first round on the board on August 22 at 5 pm.

– Students will be able to rearrange their university and course preferences until 4:59 pm on August 23.

– The second list of assigned seats will be published on August 25 at 5 p.m.

– The admission process will begin on August 26.

-Candidates will be able to accept seats until August 27.

-Applications from candidates will be accepted until August 29.

– Students must confirm admission by depositing the fee before August 30.

Sports trials have started from today at Delhi University. Candidates can get information on the website https://admission.uod.ac.in/?UG-Admissions/ECA-and-Sports. Selection trials for various sports will be held on August 21. These trials will be held at various colleges and venues, where players will be able to showcase their sporting ability. The reporting time for all sports remains at 9 am. Players have been instructed to reach on time and participate in the selection process. The selected players will be prepared for the upcoming college sports competitions.

NCC-NSS Certificate Mark Sheet Released

DU has released the category-wise marks of all NCC and NSS candidates on its website. Apart from this, a notification has been issued providing information about the number of ECA certificates uploaded and the grievance redressal process. As per the University CSAS ECA Supernumerary Quota guidelines, if any candidate has any grievance in the issuance of certificates of NCC and NSS categories, the same will be resolved by the University ECA Grievance Redressal Committee. Candidates can register their grievance by clicking on https://forms.gle/2iJNkNnauHgF1ZDYA. Filling multiple forms for the same grievance may lead to cancellation of your candidature for the ECA category. This link to the grievance redressal form will be active only till 11:59 pm on August 22. Candidates will receive the response to the grievance on the email ID provided in the form. The grievance committee will respond by August 24.
