Maa Chhinnamastika Temple, Rajrappa
The unique and mysterious idol of Mother Goddess is installed at Maa Chhinnamastika Temple located at Rajrappa, Ramgarh, Jharkhand. This ancient temple is a Devi Shaktipeeth, where the headless idol of Mother Goddess is worshipped. Thousands of devotees flock to Rajrappa to visit the nearly 6000-year-old Maa Chhinnamastika Temple. Rajarappa Temple, situated on the banks of Damodar and Bhairavi rivers, is also famous for Tantra Sadhana.
In the statue of Mother Chhinnamastika worshipped at Rajrappa temple, the mother’s head is severed. Blood is pouring out in three streams from the severed neck of the mother. In her hand is the severed head of her mother. This form of Mother Goddess established at Rajrappa is amazing and mysterious. Devotees from all corners of the country come to Ramgarh to have darshan of Mata. Maa Chhinnamastika temple is one of the oldest temples in Jharkhand.

Deori Temple, Tamad
Deori Temple, located at Tamad, at some distance from Ranchi, the capital of Jharkhand, is an important centre of reverence in the state. The Deori Temple present in Jharkhand is an ancient temple dedicated to Goddess Durga, where devotees worship the 16 Bhuji idols of Goddess Durga. The idol of Maa Durga installed in this temple is about 700 years old. Famous for its amazing architecture, Deori Temple is a world-famous religious site.

Sun Temple, Bundu
The Sun Temple situated on Ranchi Tata Marg, about 40 kilometres from the capital Ranchi, is a historic temple. Lord Ram worshipped his family deity at the Sun Temple located in the Bundu area. Hindus have immense reverence for the Sun Temple, which is famous for its picturesque architecture and spiritual significance.
The Sun Temple is in the shape of a huge chariot of Lord Surya with seven horses. Chhath Puja has a special significance in this temple. A large number of devotees come to Bundu to have the darshan of Lord Surya. Here, during his exile, Lord Shri Ram worshipped the Sun God, who was his family deity.
