News: A madman pressured a woman sub-inspector posted at a police station in Lucknow to marry him. When the inspector did not listen to him, the accused called from different numbers and threatened to make the photo go viral. According to the victim, the accused called her from around 87 numbers. Frustrated, the sub-inspector has lodged a complaint in this matter at the women’s police station.

The inspector says that a person named Anshuman Pandey, a resident of Prayagraj Handia, has been harassing her for a long time and pressurised her to get married. When the inspector blocked Anshuman’s number, he started calling from new numbers. The accused also obtained the inspector’s photo and threatened to edit it and make it viral on social media. Fed up with these actions, the victim lodged a complaint at the women’s police station.

Also, on July 2, the accused came to the police station and tried to defame the victim in front of her colleagues. The accused created a ruckus and demanded Rs 2 lakh and also threatened to remove the inspector from his job. Mahila police station inspector Manju Pandey said that a case has been registered in this matter and an investigation has been initiated.
