In a new video posted by Netflix, Kapil, along with Archana Puran Singh, Sunil Grover, Krushna Abhishek, Kiku Sharda and Rajeev Thakur made the announcement. Kapil confirms Kapil’s Great Indian Show 2
In the video, Archana says, “This time, we have some good news for all of you. Your very own show is coming soon…” As Sunil, Kapil, Rajeev, Krushna and Kiku unveil posters with The Great Indian Show written on them, Archana asks why “Kapil” is not written on it.
Kapil replies, “Kapil is standing right here in front of you.” Krushna interrupts him and says, “Those who want to understand have understood.” The video concludes with Sunil confirming, “The second season of The Great Indian Kapil Show is coming soon to Netflix.” Netflix shared the video on its Instagram account and captioned it as, “Ab shanivaar hoga “Funnyvaar” because Kapil and his gang are coming with double the fun and hassi iss baar (Now Saturdays are going to be fun as Kapil and his gang are coming with double the fun and laughter) (heart-eye emoji) Season 2 is coming soon! Stay tuned.”
Fans are calling for Sumona, Chandu and Bharti to return

The first season of The Great Indian Kapil Show featured celebrity guests like Ranbir Kapoorhis mother Neetu Kapoor, Riddhia Kapoor, Sunny Deol, Bobby Deol, Mary Kom, Saina Nehwal, Sania Mirza, Badshah, DIVINE, Diljit Dosanjh, Imtiaz Ali, Parineeti Chopra and the entire cast of Heeramandi.
Netflix has yet to reveal a release date for season two.
