Jhunjhunu: A case related to Pakistan Zindabad slogans came to light during Bharat Bandh on Wednesday in Islampur town under Bagad police station area in the district. Bharat Bandh was observed here in protest against the decision given by the Supreme Court regarding SC/ST reservation. A video related to the rally is going viral on social media since the whole day. It is claimed on social media that a person who participated in the rally made people raise Pakistan Zindabad slogans. However, Navbharat Times Online does not confirm this video. As soon as this video reached the police administration, they too were shocked. The police have started actively investigating the whole matter.

However, in the evening, the in-charge station of the Jhunjhunu district police issued a statement regarding the viral video. The in-charge station said that the person who raised the slogans has been identified. The person who raised the slogans is Ravindra Garva, Deputy Sarpanch of Islampur city, who said during interrogation that he had raised the slogans of the Indian Constitution from Zindabad while driving at excessive speed, but I don’t know how it is heard that it has been changed. Quoting the person who raised the slogans, the police said that if it is written and listened to carefully, it will be clear that he had only raised slogans of the Indian Constitution from Zindabad. However, the police say that the video has also been sent to the cyber team for investigation. After investigation, the police will take appropriate action in the entire matter.

Accused Ravindra Garva said that “I only raised slogans from the Zindabad Constitution”

In this case, the accused, Deputy Sarpanch Ravindra Garva, told the media that he had only raised slogans of the Indian Constitution from Zindabad. He further said that he is also an Indian, a Hindu. The Deputy Sarpanch said that “I am not from Pakistan”, everyone in our Islampur has a cordial feeling, whether they are Hindus or Muslims or belong to any other caste. Ravindra denied raising such slogans and said that if anyone feels hurt by my language, I apologise to them.

On the same issue, Gram Panchayat Sarpanch Amin Maniyar, who was present during the protest, also told the media that such slogans were not raised. They feel that someone edited the video and made it viral with the wrong purpose of spoiling the mood. He insisted on finding the person who edited it.
