Ronaldo’s channel features a sleek logo design, with the letters UR as his CR initials followed by a play button. The channel bio cleverly told viewers to “SIUUUbscribe,” which is inspired by Ronaldo’s iconic goal celebration that crowds often repeat.

In a short video on his official X account, the Al-Nassr striker said: “I have a big surprise for you guys, the new YouTube channel.”

The 39-year-old, who is already the most followed person on social media, said he will share content not only about football but also about his “family, wellness, nutrition, preparation, recovery, education and business” on his YouTube channel.

“I’m very happy to be able to make this project a reality. It’s been on my mind for a long time but we finally have the opportunity to make it a reality,” said the former Manchester United and Real Madrid striker.

“I’ve always enjoyed having such a strong relationship with fans on social media and my YouTube channel will give me an even bigger platform to do so and they’ll learn more about me, my family and my views on many different topics.

I also look forward to sharing conversations with guests that will undoubtedly surprise people!” he added.

Cristiano Ronaldo’s YouTube channel has so far seen over ten videos uploaded, including a ‘Meet Georgina’, a free-throw challenge with his son and a ‘This or That’ selection, during which Ronaldo was seen choosing between iconic sportsmen such as Michael Jordan and Tiger Woods.

It is worth noting that Ronaldo was the first person in the world to surpass 500 million followers on social media and now has more than 900 million.

According to Forbes, the Portuguese footballer earns a salary of $200 million a year from Saudi club Al Nassr, plus another $60 million in commercial income from sponsorships.
