The YouTuber-turned-boxer reportedly donned boxing shorts worth a staggering $1.2 million for his rematch against Tyron Woodley in 2021. His shorts had Rolex watches on the waist and Jake Paul plans to outdo himself when he takes on Mike Tyson later this year.
When asked about the outfit he plans to wear for the fight, Paul quickly made his ambitions clear. “We’re going to wear the most expensive shorts ever,” he replied in an interview with sports betting company Betr.
The 27-year-old social media sensation was left in awe by the initial design of the shorts, which he called “absolutely insane.” Jake Paul can’t wait to reveal his outfit to the world, but he’s worried that all the glitz won’t end up making the shorts too heavy to battle Iron Mike.
“Hopefully it won’t be too heavy, that might be the only problem. We’ll see,” he added. When the interviewer pressed further on the shorts aspect, Jake Paul joked: “There’s going to be some weight. Diamonds, all that!”
Although Jake has lavish plans for his entrance, he also made a bold claim by saying that he will knock out Mike Tyson and prove his detractors wrong.
“On November 15th, Mike Tyson will be training, he’ll be back and he’ll look crazier than ever. On November 15th on Netflix, I’ll get another knockout and prove everyone wrong once again,” Paul said.
