MCC NEET UG Counselling 2024: MCC i.e. Medical Counselling Committee will release the first seat allotment result of NEET UG Counselling tomorrow, August 23. The seat blocking process for admission to MBBS, BDS and BSc Nursing courses ended on August 21 at mcc.nic.in. MCC had extended the last date for option filling and seat blocking from August 20 to August 21. After tomorrow’s seat allotment result, candidates will have to report to the allotted medical colleges between August 24 and August 29. Data verification of candidates will be done on August 30 and 31.
MCC counselling will enable admission to 15 per cent of all-India quota seats in government colleges and 100 per cent seats in central/demed colleges, ESIC/AFMS institutes, AIIMS, JIPMER. The remaining 85 per cent seats will be filled through state-level counselling. The counselling process is being carried out for 1.10 lakh MBBS seats and 27,868 BDS seats in 710 medical colleges. Apart from this, admission will also be available in around 1,000 BSc Nursing seats. Many seats will be allotted in AYUSH and veterinary programmes in the country.
There will be a total of four rounds of NEET counselling – Round 1, Round 2, Round 3 and Seat Loss Round. The entire admission process will end on October 30, 2024. The second round of NEET UG counselling process will be conducted from September 5 to 10. Seat allotment and verification will be held on September 11 and 12.
MCC has asked students to download the ‘Sandes’ app for counselling updates.
