Attack on Bihar Police: Big news is coming from Bettiah, Bihar. Villagers attacked the Prohibition Department team that had gone to conduct a raid seeking information about liquor in Shivrajpur Panchayat under Nautan police station area. Four policemen, including the inspector, were injured in this incident. The incident was reported at 8 am on Thursday.
According to information, the police team had gone to raid the house of Motilal Mukhiya, a resident of Shivrajpur under Nautan police station area. But no liquor was recovered during the raid. It is alleged that the villagers attacked the team accusing them of misbehaving with women.
In this, Inspector Nagendra Prasad and constables Pappu Chaudhary, Vindhyachal Yadav, Jogendra Prasad and others were injured. The injured policemen are being treated at the Government Medical College Hospital in Bettiah. Currently, the Nautan police have started conducting raids in the village and arresting the accused.
