Beyoncé is not mentioned on the agenda for Thursday’s Democratic National Convention

Speculation on Beyoncé The fact that the singer was the “special guest” of the Democratic National Convention on day four intensified after a plane was spotted in Teterboro, New Jersey, followed by a cryptic emoji-laced tweet from White House political director Emmy Ruiz on Thursday. Neither DNC officials nor the 42-year-old singer have confirmed her attendance at the event.
Several notable names will address the convention ahead of Kamala Harris’ acceptance speech.
On Thursday, social media users posted videos on X, the platform formerly known as Twitter, claiming that Beyoncé’s husband Jay Z’s private jet had been spotted flying over Teterboro. “Saw Jay Z’s Puma jet flying into Teterboro while walking this morning. Maybe he’ll pick up @Beyoncé for the #DNC tonight? 🤷🏼♂️,” one person asked.
“I see Jay Z’s plane got into Teterboro a couple hours ago,” another confirmed.
Meanwhile, White House political director Emmy Ruiz posted a bee emoji on the platform led by Elon Musk. Beyoncé is also known as “The Queen Bee.”
“Sorry guys, my 6 year old son took my phone,” Ruiz added in a follow-up post.
Similar rumors about Taylor Swift are circulating on social media. Her fans, known as Swifties, claim that the 34-year-old singer’s private jet was spotted at Chicago’s O’Hare International Airport. The Democratic National Convention is currently being held at the United Center, which is about 50 minutes from the airport.
Swift is back in the United States after wrapping up the UK leg of her ‘The Eras Tour.’
