In the latest episode of Kaun Banega Crorepati 16, the host Amitabh Bachchan She was seen getting emotional after 27-year-old contestant Nareshi revealed that she is suffering from a brain tumour and will use the prize money for treatment.
”Sir, I was diagnosed with a brain tumor in 2018. I even underwent surgery in 2019, and my mother had to sell her jewellery for my treatment. Despite surgery, the doctors were unable to remove the entire tumor. And it is at a critical location, so they cannot operate again. The doctors suggested proton therapy, which is extremely expensive and available only in 2-4 hospitals across India. They had quoted around 25-30 lakhs for the treatment,” the contestant told Big B.
The KBC16 host gets emotional and decides to help Nareshi with her treatment. ”Nareshi Ji, I will do my best to cover the expenses of the proton therapy that you need for your treatment. Your money is guaranteed, and now whatever amount you earn on the show will be yours. You can rest easy with your treatment,” said Big B.

For the unversed, Nareshi became the first contestant of the season to face the Rs 10 crore question. However, she managed to win Rs 50 crore.
