The last chance to apply for direct admission in B.Tech, BPharma and MCA during the academic session 2024-25 at Lucknow University will be till August 24. LU has issued instructions in this regard. The spokesperson states that direct admission will be done in the second year also through B.Tech and MCA lateral entry. LU will accept admissions from its own level in the seats remaining vacant in the Uttar Pradesh Technical Admission Counselling (UPTAC) 2024. In this regard, the application form has been uploaded on the admission page of the official website of the university. From where candidates can download the application form. After filling the application form, a transfer of Rs 500 has to be made in the name of the Financial Controller of the University. The transfer can be submitted along with the application form at the office of the Dean, Engineering and Technical Faculty before August 24.
Spokesperson Prof. Durgesh Srivastava said that candidates applying should have cleared any exam in JEE 2024, CUET UG or PG. He says that applications for the vacant seats will be accepted till August 24. After this, the university will release the merit list. Based on which, the admission will be made.

Lucknow University is running B.Tech programmes in Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering and Computer Science and AI Engineering in the academic session 2024-25.
For admission to B.Tech, it is mandatory to have passed 12th in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics from any recognized board. While for admission in MCA, general category candidates must have BCA or B.Sc Computer Science or B.Sc IT with a minimum of 55 percent marks. For admission in BPharma, one must have passed the 12th examination from the Science group. Check the website for more details.
