RRB JE Salary 2024: The pay structure for the posts of Junior Engineer and Warehouse Material Superintendent has also been announced in the RRB JE 2024 notification released by the Railway Recruitment Board. Candidates recruited for these posts will be paid salary as per pay grade 7. In which the basic pay will be ₹ 36,500. In addition to this, candidates recruited as Chemical and Metallurgical Assistant will also be paid salary at pay grade 7. These posts will get a higher basic pay of ₹ 44,900.

This amount will be the training period allowance.
Eligible selected candidates who qualify the SSC Junior Engineer Recruitment Examination and get the post as Junior Engineer are required to undergo a period of training as directed by the Commission.
Candidates receive a monthly stipend during the training. This monthly stipend is provided as financial assistance to the candidates during their training. During the training period the candidates receive training for the respective departments and responsibilities.

After training, the qualified junior engineers selected by the Railway Recruitment Board are given a structured pay package. The basic pay of the trained junior engineers has been fixed at Rs 35,400. While they will be given 31% of the basic pay as deerness allowance (DA), which is ₹ 10,947. Without any deduction, the total pay of the selected candidates comes to Rs 46,474.
