Malaysian actor Nirmal Benny dies at 37 due to heart attack

Malayalam actor Nirmal Benny has died due to a heart attack at the young age of 37, producer Sanjay Padiyoor has confirmed. He died in the early hours of Friday, August 23. The late actor was known for his role in the film Amenstarring Fahadh Faasil.

Taking to his Instagram account, Sanjay shared an emotional post bidding farewell to his dear friend with a heavy heart. He wrote in Malayali, which we freely translate into English, “Farewell to a dear friend with a heavy heart… Nirmal was the central character in the film Kochacha in Amen Nirmal… Death was due to a heart attack this morning… I pray to the Almighty that my dear friend’s soul rests in eternal peace.”

The late actor began his career as a comedian and soon gained recognition through YouTube videos and stage performances. In 2012, he made his acting debut with Navagatharkku Swagatham. He has appeared in five films including Amen and Dooram.
