A woman from Bhalki village of Gopikander police station area came to Kishore as a messiah and then spent her money and took Kishore to Gopikander. Only then, after 13 years, did Kishore get a chance to meet his family.

What’s the whole deal?

The matter is actually related to migration due to unemployment. Kishore Soreng is originally a resident of Kongsera village under Regarih police station area in Simdega district. Kishore’s brother Subodh Kerketta said in the application filed at Gopikander police station that his brother Kishore had gone to Delhi to work as a labourer in 2011. There he was not given any money in lieu of salary. The contractor only took care of Kishore’s living expenses. He could not return home as he had no money. This was the reason why Kishore continued to work without salary for 13 years.

Savitri of Gopikandar came like an angel

Savitri Devi, from Bhalki village under Gopikander police station area, lived next to the contractor Kishore was working with. The two of them Jharkhand He is said to be a resident of. Kishore narrated his past to Savitri. Savitri spent her money and took Kishore to Gopikandar’s house. On August 20, Savitri and Kishore reported the matter at Gopikandar police station. Following which, Ranjit Mandal, in-charge of Gopikandar police station, contacted Simdega police. On August 23, Kishore’s family reached Gopikander police station. On Friday, the police handed over the teenager to his family.
