Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission has set up seven centres in the state for testing the physical efficiency of the candidates of Jharkhand Excise Constable Competitive Examination 2023 (Jharkhand Excise Constable Recruitment Exam). Out of these, at six centres (Smart City, Ranchi, Jharkhand Jaguar, Ranchi, Police Centre, Giridih, JAPTC, Padma, Hazaribagh, CTC Musabani, Jamshedpur and Jhaspu-09, Sahebganj) from 22.08.2024 to 04.09.2024 and one centre The physical efficiency test will be held from 27.08.2024 to 09.09.2024 at Palamu, Chianki Airport, Palamu. Physical efficiency test of 5,13,832 candidates for a total of 583 posts in Jharkhand Excise Constable Competitive Examination is being conducted.
The Jharkhand Police has constituted seven Police Selection Boards to conduct this physical efficiency test. A Chairman and four members (five in total) have been appointed in the Selection Board constituted.
There are 237 vacancies for General. There are 148 vacancies for SC, 57 for ST, 50 for EBC, 32 for BC and 59 for EWS.
Male candidates must be at least 160 cm tall and have a chest circumference of at least 81 cm.
SC and ST candidates will get a five cm height and 2 cm chest relaxation.

Men must run 10 km in 60 minutes and women must run 5 km in 40 minutes.
There will be a written exam after the physical test. After this, a medical examination will be conducted.
Those selected will receive a salary scale of 19900-63200, Level-2.
