Redesigned Audi Q8

Luxury carmaker Audi India has officially launched the facelifted Q8 SUV, priced at ₹1.17 crore (ex-showroom). This updated luxury SUV features several upgrades, focusing on aesthetic enhancements and additional features. It retains the 3.0-litre V6 turbo-petrol engine from the previous model, mated to a 48V mild hybrid system that produces 340 hp and 500 Nm of torque.

Skoda Kylaq

Skoda Auto India has revealed the name of its upcoming SUV model, the Kylaq, which is expected to debut in early 2025. The name was chosen from over 2 lakh entries received during a naming contest, where fans were asked to suggest a name starting with ‘K’ and ending with ‘Q’. ‘Kylaq’, derived from a Sanskrit word meaning crystal, was selected.

While Skoda is yet to fully reveal the design of the Kylaq, available teasers and spy shots suggest that the SUV will retain the brand’s signature design approach seen on models like the Kushaq. The Kylaq is expected to start at around ₹8 lakh to remain competitive.

Hyundai Alcazar: redesign

Hyundai Motor India has unveiled the facelifted Alcazar, which will go on sale on September 9, 2024. Bookings are now open across India for ₹25,000. The new Alcazar will be available in four trims (Executive, Prestige, Platinum and Signature) and offers 6- and 7-seat configurations.

It will be powered by 1.5-litre turbo petrol and 1.5-litre diesel engines, with manual and automatic transmission options. The current price of the Alcazar ranges between Rs 16.78 lakh and Rs 21.28 lakh (ex-showroom).

Jupiter 110 TV

TVS Motor Company has launched the new-generation Jupiter 110 scooter in India, with a starting price of ₹73,700 (ex-showroom, Delhi). The Jupiter 110 will be available in four variants – Drum, Drum Alloy, Drum SXC and Disc SXC. The starting price of the previous model was ₹73,340 (ex-showroom).

The new model features a strip of LED daytime running lights (DRL) in the front apron, which includes integrated indicators. It is offered in six new colours: Dawn Blue Matte, Galactic Copper Matte, Titanium Grey Matte, Starlight Blue Gloss, Lunar White Gloss and Meteor Red Gloss.

BMW F 900 GS and F 900 GS Adventure

BMW Motorrad India is gearing up to launch the BMW F 900 GS and F 900 GS Adventure. Bookings for both motorcycles are now open across the country. The new models will replace the F 850 ​​GS and F 850 ​​GS Adventure.

The F 900 GS represents a new era in BMW’s off-road range, with a lighter design and fewer components than its predecessor. Designed to be versatile, the F 900 GS Adventure is suitable for both short and long-distance tours.
