He urged the Union Minister to soon initiate the four major railway projects of the state – Dharamjaigarh-Pathalgaon-Lohardaga New Line Project, Ambikapur-Barwadih New Line Project, Kharsia-Naya Raipur-Parmalaksa New Line Project and Raoghat-Jagdalpur New Line Project. He has done so.

He also assured the Chief Minister that he will give priority to their early implementation.
