Will Congress enter CM’s electoral field without a face? It will not form an alliance even with AAP

Haryana Elections 2024: Following the announcement of assembly elections in Haryana, parties have started preparations. The morale of the Congress is high after its good performance in the Lok Sabha elections. Meanwhile, Congress general secretary Kumari Selja has indicated that she will contest the elections alone. She ruled out the possibility of an alliance with the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) in the elections and said, her party is strong on its own and will contest the elections alone.

During a conversation on a programme, Kumari Selja also claimed that the alliance of Indian National Lok Dal Party (INLD) and Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) and Jannayak Janata Party (JJP) will not cause any harm to the Congress in this election. This time the Congress will form a government with absolute majority in Haryana. She also said that in states where the Congress is in opposition, it usually does not declare the face of the chief minister.

These two great leaders have also given indications that they will not form an alliance.

  1. On August 13, former Haryana Chief Minister and senior Congress leader Bhupendra Singh Hooda also said that the Haryana government assembly elections There is no discussion of an alliance with the Aam Aadmi Party and the Congress is capable on its own.
  2. Congress general secretary Jairam Ramesh had also said on July 4 that there does not seem to be much scope for an alliance with the Aam Aadmi Party in the Delhi and Haryana assembly elections. However, the opposition alliance ‘India’ will remain intact in the Maharashtra and Jharkhand assembly elections.

When will elections be held in Haryana?

Voting will be held for all 90 assembly seats in Haryana on October 1. The counting of votes will take place on October 4. Both the Congress and the Aam Aadmi Party are included in the constituent parties of the ‘India’ alliance. In the Lok Sabha elections, both parties had contested together in Delhi and Haryana, but in Punjab both had contested separately.
