Mamta Mahato and Adari Devi of Dhanbad received a letter of acceptance from the Chief Minister.

Chief Minister Hemant Soren presented the acceptance letter with his own hands to Mamta Mahato and Adari Devi of Baghmara block of Dhanbad at the Jharkhand Chief Minister’s divisional-level programme Mainiyan Samman Yojana organised at Nagwan Maidan (Sindoor) of Hazaribagh on Saturday. Under the said programme, honorarium was transferred through DBT to the bank accounts of around 14 lakh sisters and daughters of Dhanbad, Bokaro, Hazaribagh, Giridih, Chatra, Koderma and Ramgarh. On the instructions of Dhanbad Deputy Commissioner Madhavi Mishra, District Social Welfare Officer Anita Kujur, Director Social Security Niaz Ahmed and Block Development Officer of Dhanbad also participated in the programme.

Registration of over 3.20 lakh beneficiaries:

The Director of Social Security said that a large number of beneficiaries from Dhanbad participated in the Hazaribagh scheme under the divisional level scheme. Under the Chief Minister Mainiyan Samman Yojana, over 3.20 lakh beneficiaries have been registered in Dhanbad while over 2.96 lakh beneficiaries have been approved. In this case, an amount has been transferred to the bank accounts of over 2.63 lakh beneficiaries. The amount will be transferred to the bank accounts of the remaining beneficiaries in the first week of September.
