A major train accident was averted in Bijnor, UP; the train arriving at Dhanbad was divided into two parts

Train Accident: Some bogies of a Dhanbad-bound passenger train got separated from the engine in UP’s Bijnor district on Sunday. Due to this the bogies were left behind. Commenting on the matter, Additional Superintendent of Police (ASP) Dharam Singh Marchal informed the media that the incident took place at 4 am. Due to some technical snag, some bogies of a Dhanbad-bound train got separated from the locomotive and other bogies. The train was stopped at Seohara railway station. There is no information about any passenger injured in this incident. Railway officials have reached the spot and investigation into the matter is going on.

The engine traveled 4 kilometers with 13 bogies.

It is said that in Bijnor Kisan Express The train was divided into two parts. The locomotive moved 4 km carrying 13 bogies, while 8 bogies were left behind. At the time of the accident, the speed of the train was 80 to 90 km. This was immediately reported to the Railway Department, after which officials arrived at the spot.

How did this incident happen?

Railway officials have given information on the matter. This incident occurred when the “coupling” (the device that connects the bogies to each other) separated between two sleeping bogies. The coupling has been repaired. The train has departed towards its destination.

Provisions adopted for the selection examination of candidates for police officers

The local police and the railway administration immediately made special arrangements for over 200 candidates for the Uttar Pradesh Police Constable Recruitment Examination who were travelling in the train. Three buses were arranged for these candidates so that they did not miss the examination. A decision was immediately taken to send the candidates to their respective examination centres.
