– Prepare:

  • Hot butter: First, put 2 tablespoons of ghee in a pan and heat it. When the ghee is hot, add grated coconut to it and fry until the coconut turns slightly golden.
  • Add the milk and sugar: Now add 1 cup of milk and bring it to a boil, keeping in mind the quantity of milk, add sugar and mix well, cook until the sugar dissolves completely.
  • Mix cardamom and nuts: Add ground cardamom to the milk and sugar mixture and also add chopped nuts, this will make the barfi even more delicious.
  • Correct package: Cook the mixture well until it starts to separate from the pan. At this point, if you wish, you can add saffron, which will give a nice aroma and color to the barfi.
  • Barfi Set: Pour the prepared mixture on a plate greased with ghee and spread it out. After letting the mixture cool down a bit, let it rest. When the barfi cools down completely, cut it into small pieces as per your requirement.
