In a shocking turn of events, a Chinese woman got her revenge. After being ignored by staff at a Louis Vuitton store, she waited two months to get her revenge.
According to a social media user, “xiaomayouren” shared her “infuriating” experience at the StarLight Place mall in Chongqing, southwest China, in June.
The woman, who was carrying a Hermes handbag, had gone to a Louis Vuitton store to buy clothes and said she had been treated coldly by employees.
He asked to see the new arrivals, but they ignored his request and pointed out old, seasonal clothes. They also ignored his request for water.
When she asked them to show her some clothes that fit her, they even rolled their eyes and looked irritated. The customer said that when she called the luxury brand’s “headquarters” after the incident, she got no response.
The woman took matters into her own hands and waited for two months before returning to the same store with a bag containing approximately ₹70 lakh in cash to exact revenge.
Before telling the saleswoman that they would buy the clothes, they tried them on and the woman paid with a large bag of money that she had handed to the store staff.
“We don’t want to buy now,” the woman told the team of salespeople after two hours of counting the money. “We’re leaving,” she added.
“After they finished telling me, I just took my money and left. How could I possibly buy their products to improve my work performance?” she wrote on Xiaohongshu. According to the South China Morning Post, the woman described this incident as “the most outrageous incident of the year.”
