‘Jhaadu Abhiyaan’: Women beat alcoholics drinking on Mumbai streets with brooms, netizens react

Bombay: In the Lalji Pada neighbourhood of Kandivali in Mumbai, a group of women, fed up with the constant public drinking and the nuisance caused by alcoholics on the streets, decided to take matters into their own hands. Armed with brooms, they confronted and chased away the drunks who had been openly consuming alcohol in the area.

The incident, which occurred on August 24, was captured on video and has since gone viral on social media. The video shows the women approaching the men, who were loitering and drinking on the streets, and forcefully chasing them away with their brooms. The quick action of these women has received widespread praise, with many people on social media applauding their bravery.
