How to prevent saree-dupatta from getting stuck with safety pin
Often when a safety pin is applied, the fabric gets stuck on the pin at the back and tears. To avoid such a situation, before inserting the pin, tuck a small piece of fabric into it. This will prevent the saree or dupatta from getting stuck.
If you don’t have a small piece of fabric, the easiest way is to use a bindi. Take a large-sized bindi and secure it with the safety pin first. Then apply it on the saree, dupatta or any part of the clothes. This will prevent the pin from getting stuck and the fabric will not tear.
If you are going to place the pin in an open place from where it will be visible, thread a small pearl on the back. In the house you will find some kind of pearl. Even after tying it, the sari does not get stuck on the pin and prevents it from breaking.
With the help of a piece of polythene, the saree and dupatta can be prevented from tearing and tangling. Just make a small piece of polythene in three or four layers and stick it on the back of the pin.
