Allan Donald was a vital member of the South African team across all formats since its re-admission to the sport in 1991, after a 21-year exile from international cricket due to its apartheid policy. Donald was one of the finest players of his generation in world cricket and played a key role in turning the Proteas into a cricketing powerhouse.
Throughout his international career, which spanned 12 years, Donald played 72 Tests and took 330 wickets while featuring in 164 ODIs with 272 wickets.
Steyn made his debut in 2004 for South Africa and quickly became the world’s best fast bowler. The right-hander played international cricket for 16 years and finished with an impressive haul of 439 Test wickets, as well as 196 and 64 scalps in ODIs and T20Is respectively.
