During the intensive search operation of the Navy team from inside the dam at around 2.45 pm on Sunday, about one metre (white in colour) of the left bullseye of the plane was taken out of the dam as evidence. Apart from this, the team also worked on marking the found location of the crashed plane with a ZT tube (a small canister made by connecting plastic jerry cans). Also, route mapping was done on Monday to remove the crashed plane. In the route mapping, where the railway track, houses and other structures are built, where there are free spaces, were marked in detail. So that there is no problem in removing the crashed plane from the dam.

A special Navy team comprising 16 members descended into the depths of Chandil Dam at around 9 am. Firstly, three Navy ships and a Bihar ship started the search for the crashed plane. After reaching the spot reported by the villagers and an eyewitness, the technical team went deep into the dam but could not locate the crashed plane. After this, the Navy team reached the submerged area of ​​Neemdih block, about seven kilometers away from the marked point of Chandil Dam, near the village called Vandih, close to the famous Koylagarh Budha Baba Shiv temple (which is still submerged in the water of Chandil Dam). Where the naval team which reached a depth of about 27 meters (about 90 feet) managed to find the crashed plane. Later, the Navy technical team fished out a part of the crashed aircraft as evidence. The Navy team traced the plane’s exit route on Monday and after marking the location, it left the dam at around 4 pm. However, the Navy team has not yet shared any information regarding it.
