Plot
Dying Light: The Beast is set in the post-apocalyptic Beaver Forest, a once-popular tourist destination. Players will take on the role of Kyle Crane, who was thought to have met his end in The Following DLC. The game’s synopsis on Steam describes it as a thrilling standalone adventure. After enduring 13 years of experiments, Crane escapes and pursues his captors for revenge. However, he soon discovers that there’s much more at stake.
Cast and characters
Roger Craig Smith, known for his roles as Ezio in Assassin’s Creed and Geralt of Rivia in The Witcher, will once again lend his voice to Kyle Crane. As of yet, no other cast members have been confirmed for the game.
Gameplay
Dying Light: The Beast will feature the franchise’s signature parkour movement, allowing players to traverse the world with agility. The trailer showcases the game’s brutal combat, which remains a key feature of the series. Players can expect a less conventional combat system, emphasizing melee combat, influenced by Crane’s animalistic side. This combat will be crucial in dealing with both undead and human enemies.
